Please join the Chamber in welcoming Emily Bryan as the new assistant director.
Emily is a 2020 graduate of Penn State Altoona. While at Penn State she was introduced to an entrepreneurial leadership program that gave her a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to professionally develop. This program led to her finding her passion for marketing and management.
Post-graduation, she went back to work at Applebee’s Grill & Bar where she had worked during high school. She worked full-time as a manager as well as a freelancer for JLG Industries focusing on marketing and design.
She was born and raised in Waynesboro and said she appreciates the great support system and family that has always been there for her. “I love the beautiful scenery, smalltown feel, and I have come to realize just how special of a place Waynesboro truly is.” Even after moving away to college, she felt herself quickly missing her hometown.
Emily has a special place in her heart for the local small businesses and hopes to one day have her own business. Most of her family either operates or works for a small business. She said she has watched them put everything they have into creating meaningful jobs and providing for their families. She appreciates how the local businesses come together to support the community.
“I am excited to be back and working at the Chamber. I look forward to working with the business and non-profit community and helping my hometown to continue to grow and prosper.”
