Directory also available on Chamber website. 2019 Community & Business EXPO
The Greater Waynesboro Chamber of Commerce Business Expo has been a staple in the community for 23 years. Held in February, this family friendly event attracts more than 800 visitors and 70 plus business and nonprofit vendors. The event is coupled with the well-known Waynesboro Lions Club All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast. Stop by from 7 until 11am, and enjoy breakfast and see what businesses and services are offered in the great Waynesboro area. Be sure to bring the family and check out the Kids Zone. Don’t forget Black Out Bingo and a chance to win a book filled with $1,000 + shopping spree around the greater Waynesboro area.
Admission to the EXPO is free! Pancake Breakfast is available: Adult/$6 each; Children 5–12 /$3 each.
2019 Golf Scramble
Enjoy time on the Links while networking. This four person scramble is held at the Waynesboro Country Club every June. If you aren’t a country club member, you won’t want to miss this opportunity to golf on an exceptional course.
Cost to play: $75; $65/Waynesboro Country Club members.
2019 Nite at the Races
Do you have the Luck of the Irish or the Midas touch of a Golden Horseshoe? You won’t want to miss this fun event. Guest enjoy using play money to bet on actual pre-recorded races for a chance to win prizes. It feels like you are at the track.
Ribbon Cuttings Assistance
A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony is an important part of your overall marketing and advertising plan and is a great way to kick-off a grand opening of a business. It offers an opportunity to meet key leaders in the community and get acquainted with your neighbors, Chamber members and potential customers. The Cornerstone Chamber of Commerce would assist you in planning a successful event for your company. Having participated in hundreds of ribbon cutting ceremonies, we know how to get optimum exposure for your company. Scheduling a Ribbon Cutting with the Chamber should take place a minimum of two weeks prior to the event to allow the Chamber time to plan the appropriate documentation, invite members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, the Ambassadors and dignitaries from our municipalities to join your celebration. Food and beverages are often served, but it is your decision. Your plan can be as simple or elaborate as you like, whatever fits your budget. There is no charge for the Chamber’s involvement — it’s a value-added benefit of being a member. People generally anticipate spending about a half hour at the ceremony, so be prepared with collateral materials.
